MEET KARLA
From the beginning stages of Onyx Bridal and our original store, Second Summer Bride Sacramento, I wanted to create a space that welcomes everyone that walks through our door. Whether this is your first time trying on a gown, or a new stage in your life and style, we aim to build a lasting relationship with each and every client.
From the “I’ve been planning this my whole life” bride to the “so apparently I have to buy a wedding dress?” bride - we’ve got you covered! Each of our amazing associates have seen it all, and have put in the hard work, training, and love into being the person that will get you into the perfect attire for your big day.
We have created a special experience that we want to share with all our fabulous brides that emphasizes a more relaxed styling session, with our clients’ best interests at heart. With a zero commission sales team, we truly care about discovering the ideal dress for you and the elements that make your wedding special. When you visit our salon, you are welcomed in to our home away from home; we live to find the look that makes you feel the most you. Our down-to-earth motto is perfect for anyone who wants to have a fun and magical time finding their dream look, and walk into their wedding day feeling confident and beautifully unique!
With that, we promise to fulfill our mission to: attentively adopt each unique vision of every bride and groom without bias, provide a diverse collection of sustainable gowns and tuxes to shop from, and remain a pillar of cool, calm, and collected as we guide you through every step of the way!
As a shop owner and designer it’s been an exciting time in bridal and I can’t wait to see you all enjoy your visits to our store. We love meeting brides who are excited about our green efforts with our curated consignment selections as well as our special order gowns, which now include our in-house label Ruth Marilyn Designs. With the introduction of tuxes and bridesmaids we have truly become that special bridal home away from home I have always dreamed of. I hope to see you all soon!

Adopting the art vibe of our community, we have created a space with cool greys and pops of bright pink (because - hello bridal!) so we can focus on bringing your vision to life. At Onyx, you are free to be you and we are here to help guide you on your bridal journey!
